I Love Pretty

I am close to finishing a little dresser--another one of those sad little pieces that really wanted to be pretty.   After painting it light blue and trying out various finishes, I started all over and re-painted it with a Martha Stewart color that I just love.  No distressing--just a nice clean look with this one.

I'll post about it as soon as it's done (still pondering the hardware), but here's a preview.  Painting outdoors was a bit of a challenge with the wind this week, but the leaves did look really pretty on the Duck's Egg blue.

And just so you don't think it's all fun and games around here, I took the old padding and tacks off a chair seat today (one of two)--nasty work . . .
